Hello and Welcome! 

I am a composer, improviser, vocalist and educator interested in intercultural collaborations. In my works, I borrow from Iranian music, Jazz, Western contemporary music, and computer music. I received my PhD in Integrated Composition, Improvisation, and Technology (ICIT) from UC Irvine.

 

I enjoy performing with Sibarg Ensemble and collaborating both on and off stage with influential people while continuously learning from my mentors, colleagues and students. 

 

As of September 2022, I am an adjunct professor of music, teaching Intro to World Music at Soka University of America.
